Quite simply, Rich is the most promising DJ and producer of the new generation. He melds minimal with tough funk and marries sweeping atmosphere to spacious tech while still driving the feet – not easy” Tim Sheridan.

This is high praise indeed, but a certain Mr. Sheridan is not alone in his opinion of Rich, in fact……..far from it! At only 24 years old, DJ and Producer Filthy Rich is at the top of his game; with an ever growing fan-base watching every step, his reputation as one of the brightest stars is gathering steam at a furious pace. Having made the transition that so many others fail in, namely manifesting themselves from promising talent to a genuine global star, 2007 is already shaping up to be a rollercoaster ride of Herculean proportions!

Containing Rich’s sound to one form of dance music is nigh on impossible. He regularly ghosts between styles, taking in house, electronica and techno all delivered in a supremely tight mix with a few of his own productions and re-edits thrown in for good measure. It is through this tireless application to experimentation that Rich keeps himself ahead of the chasing pack. He has truly formed his own sound and is constantly adding to it with his ever-growing discography.

Rich currently holds some of the country’s biggest and best residencies that include; multi award winning club ‘Kissdafunk’, world-wide dance institution Gatecrasher, the ever glamorous Hat Club and more recently ‘Very Very Very Wrong Indeed’. As well as this, his magic has touched the dance floors of the Gallery, Sankeys, Garlands, Dusted and many more. If this wasn’t enough Rich will add the world famous Ministry of Sound to his residency portfolio this year which will provide yet another crowd to unleash his sound onto.

Internationally Rich is in demand more than ever - to date, his unique sound has been exported to Singapore, Shanghai, Melbourne, Sydney, Poland, Ibiza, Ireland and a massive a 5 date tour of Russia, sponsored by Bacardi. 2007 will host his return to Ibiza, another trip to Australia as well as dates in Italy, Romania, Dubai and a whole host of European destinations.

Production wise Rich is in more demand than ever. With a discography that tops over 20 productions and remixes, not including his material as Spektre, which incidentally tops a further 15, it’s no surprise the phone just doesn’t stop ringing. Support for most of his releases reads like a who’s who of international Djing with the likes of Steve Lawler and Fergie leading the charge. Recent highlights include; Chainsmoking (Oven Ready) and Distortion (Cosmonaut Blue).

As well as his own material Rich is in immense demand for remixes having stamped his mark on the following tracks; Prok & Fitch – The Chant on Roger Sanchez’s Stealth Records, Carl Kennedy – Don’t Give Up (Cr2 Records), DJ Pierre – Destroy This Track (Big Love)Dave Robertson – Pressure Cooker (Cosmonaught Blue), Dave Armstrong – Make Your Move (Boss), Seamus Haji – Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (Apollo) as well as many others.

To further facilitate Rich’s insatiable appetite for production he has set up his own imprint called Control Freq Records. The first release, ‘Get Down’ will be promoted in Miami with awesome mixes from Prok & Fitch and Hauswerks. Watch this space for more original material and collaborations with the likes of Micky Slim and Rob Tissera.

With the diary virtually booked up to the summer it goes without saying, if you want a piece of the above, then we suggest you get in now. 2007 will be another incredible year for Filthy Rich, and we guarantee this just the beginning.
