Olivier Giacomotto's production and DJing career began in 1999 through work in recording studios where he learned how to use samplers, mixing desks, effects, computers and music software. From the Blues Cafe Studio in Paris to Townhouse Studios in London, Olivier worked with Robert Suhas, Magnus Fiennes, Guy Pratt, Yohad Nevo, Pete Lewis, John Themis, Bond, Lyrics, and various other famous bands, producers, studio musicians and sound engineers from the mainstream music industry.

During 2004 and 2005, Olivier produced more than 20 EPs. All these releases have been massively played and charted by scores of djs such as Misstress Barbara, Carl Cox, Chris Liebing, Umek, Marco Bailey, Christian Varela, Dave Angel, Felipe, Tonio, Green Velvet and many more...

During 2006, his first electro release came on the label Tora Tora Tora : Jamon y Queso EP immediatly got big support from worldwide dj's such as John Acquaviva, Sven Vath, Steve Bug or Tony Rios. The summer started with another smash, this time on Definitive Recordings. The 3 tracker called Walking on The Moog created such a big buzz on the scene that it even opened the doors to the top10 of beatport's electro house chart and the mainroom of Privilege, Ibiza.

Year 2007 started with his work on Volta by Robot Needs Oil. Massively played around the world, this remix reached the second place of Beatport Top100 Chart, followed by a number one with the hit "Gail in the O", and few other Top10 tracks like his remix of Defected by Robot Needs Oil, and his last release of the year : Japan.

Year 2008 starts with a smashing release coproduced with John Acquaviva, called "Sofa King ...Good". These two electro burners are already the new beatport's best-sellers...

Olivier is now constantly on the move across the world, playing in famous clubs and events like Privilege in Ibiza, Rex Club in Paris, Ministry of Sound in London, Heineken City Hall in Amsterdam, Zona in Moscow, La Bush in Belgium, Fabrik in Madrid, Lov-e in Sao Paulo, Turnmills in London, Summer Dance Festival in Colombia, Hrad in Slovakia, Dom Im Berg in Austria, Fusion in Germany... He's one of the key artist of Definitive Recordings, working closely with John Acquaviva on various projects, releases, and remixes.

Olivier Giacomotto, dj e produtor de Bordeaux, França, começou sua carreira em 1999 em estúdios profissionais de gravação, onde aprendeu a utilizar tudo aquilo que seria crucial na música que faz hoje.

Sempre ligado a tecnologia, Olivier foi um dos primeiros djs a se apresentar com o que seria depois chamado de Final Scratch, e seus sets são sempre marcados por mixagens bem feitas e muitos efeitos.

Suas produções figuram sempre entre os top 10 dos principais djs de electro house e já conseguiu alguns top 1 do Beatport, como o hino “Gail in The O” que chegou a ficar durante quase dois meses no posto mais alto de vendas do site.

Possui uma legião de admiradores, encabeçados pelo papa do electro, e um dos donos
Do Beatport, a lenda John Acquaviva, que o considera como o melhor produtor do
Gênero em todo o planeta.

Steve Bug, Sven Vath, Toni Rios, entre vários outros fazem parte desse time de adimiradores e sempre tocam suas produções em seus sets.
