Taking things back… Colin was inspired by his good friend to start laying down his own beats, after getting caught up in the music addiction in 2000 he turned all his attentions to focus intently on music. During his 4 years at music collage he got stuck into production work and has never looked back. Hauswerks has created an instantly recognisable sound unique to any remix or original track his magic touches. Having an avid interest in many genres and also producing many styles has kept his imagination fresh and is a constant feeding ground for inspiration thus never short of inspiration. From a techy, jacking, irty, groovy sound fuelled with an abundance of energy to grinding electronic monsters with creative use of effects and original structure, you cannot fail to recognise his trademark sound, tight percussion, funky techno rhythms and distorted effects! The secret to Hauswerks success however is not only held within his incredible production skills. This young man certainly has the ability to take control of any dance-floor and delivers a superb dj performance winning not only the hearts of the UK clubbers but enticing the globe with his infectious sound as far a field as Canada, Australia and Brazil with more global tours in the pipeline. His style could be described as Teccy Rolling Electonic House. Hauswerks has already had a lot of success in 2006 working with some of the scenes leading artists with Releases on Toxikworld, Intoxikate, UMM, Salacious, Glasshouse, Baroque, Whoop, Date all under his belt. 2007 is set to be a monster for this young Genuius he has already collaborated with the trance legends Riley n Durrant to remix Alex Gold's 'LA Today' for Extravaganzer, featuring the legend that is Human Leagues lead singer Phil Oaky. He’s also remixed Riley and Durrants 'Hollow' which is taken from their forthcoming artist album. Hauswerks completed his first tour of South America in April 07 and will be returning in October 07. Another rising star in electronic music at the moment Filthy Rich has given Hauswerks the job of Remixing the already much talked about track “Get Down” set for release .. Freq records . Further collaboration’s with Ingo Staar bring you an EP signed to Glasshouse Recordings.
